Skip was born in Washington, DC in 1958. He lived in suburban Washington until he was nine when his family moved to Annapolis, MD. He graduated in 1980 from Wheaton College with a degree in Bible. He met his wife late that summer and were married in August of 1981. They went north to Philadelphia where Skip earned his M. Div. at Westminster Seminary in 1985. He has served in PCA churches in Macon GA, Lexington KY and South Bend IN. He ministered for seven years at Arden Presbyterian where he had the title of Pastor of Children’s Ministries and Adult Education. God has blessed them with three children who are all married and have five grandchildren.
